November 22 2018
We've launched Tjapukai Guide - A Free Multilingual App
Visitors to Tjapukai will now gain a better insight into Aboriginal culture with the launch of a multilingual app delivering our cultural performances, and park information in English, Japanese and Chinese.
The free app covers Tjapukai by Day, and Night Fire Dinner & Show, and includes show scripts and much more:
- English, Japanese, Chinese.
- Park Map
- Show Times
- Multi-lingual show Scripts
- Discounts in our Restaurant, Cafe & Retail Shop
Download the FREE app:
The app will enhance the visitor experience, especially for those who are not native English speakers, or perhaps are struggling to understand our Aussie accent. More languages will be added in the coming months, as well as audio guides which are coming in 2019.
Tour guides and tour escorts can also use the Tjapukai App to assist with their tour briefing, with show scripts, safety guidelines and park information all at their fingertips.
We are continuing to develop the app and are working towards adding more languages, as well as multilingual Audio Guides.
If a user’s device is set to one of the languages available, the app will automatically show the content in that language.
The app was built in-house with no external developers, which is a huge achievement for a business run by Australia’s Traditional Owners.
The Tjapukai app can be downloaded FREE from Google Play and Apple App Store, or visitors can scan the QR Code when they arrive at Tjapukai.
