This is the area situated between the two theatres which Tjapukai has created a museum gallery of modern and ancient artworks.

Ten large mural paintings have been commissioned, each depicting a Tjapukai Dreamtime legend.

Some three large display cases of Tjapukai artifacts, formerly housed in the Queensland State Museum, have been returned to the bama, the people, to be housed in the Magic Space.

Over the entrance to the Magic Space hangs the magnificent stage curtain bearing the original painting "Heart of My People", which opened over 7,000 performances at Tjapukai's first Kuranda Theatre.

An atmospheric, dramatic room, the Magic Space is also where Tjapukai By Night begins.
