Tjapukai offers a morning, afternoon, and evening shuttle transfer service to and from your Cairns and Northern Beaches accommodation. Ad $21, Ch $12, Family $24.
For Tjapukai by Day, pick ups are between 8 and 9am. Return transfers leave Tjapukai for Cairns at 12:30, 2:30, 3:15, 4:15, 4:50, and for northern beaches at 3:45 and 5:20pm.
For the Night Fire dinner & show, pick ups are between 6 and 7pm. Return transfers leave Tjapukai at 9:30pm.
You will be asked to choose your pick up location from a list when booking online. Your pick up time will be advised when you do.
Tjapukai can also be included in your Kuranda Day Tour in conjunction with Skyrail and Kuranda Scenic Rail.
Or visit the reef one day with Sunlover Reef Cruises and Hartleys Creek Crocodile Farm and Tjapukai on an alternate day. These packages can be booked through our package partners Down Under Tours, International Coaches, Sunlover Cruises or Hartleys Creek Crocodile Farm.
Public transport connects with Tjapukai via Translink Route 123 from the Cairns City Place Bus Stop and returns from the Tjapukai Bus Stop. Departure times can be found at the Translink website.
The Tjapukai Bus Stop sign artwork was commissioned by the Transport Department. Djabugay descendant Napolean Phillip Oui designed the sign with Bundarra,the Cassowary totem, which is significant to the Djabugay people as it signifies the Father.
The Cairns Taxis service can also get you to and from Tjapukai.
