By day Tjapukai is Australia's only dedicated Aboriginal Cultural Park - one of the most exciting pre- or post-touring options you can imagine.

After hours we're really something else! Event organisers can choose to include one or all of our exciting Aboriginal theatre shows and presentations, use our 7 metre video screen, or choose from a range of superb menus created by our talented food and beverage team.

Tjapukai's park is a stunning all weather venue which offers an ideal location for any number of unique and inspirational evenings. Together with a range of event and incentive options designed for groups from 50 to 2,000 in size, Tjapukai has the experience and theatrical expertise to produce an event that will long be remembered.

Themed Events

We've been creating dramatic special events for over a decade and here a few of our event theme suggestions.

Venues

Tjapukai has not one, but four different and dazzling dining areas:

  • The Magic Space: A beautifully ambient space containing museum quality artifacts and specially commissioned artworks, is ideal for welcome drinks (50-350 guests) or as a unique venue for an elegant dinner party (40-120 guests)
  • The Tjapukai Dance Theatre: An outdoor covered amphitheatre, is an exclusive incentive dinner and performance venue (50-100 guests).
  • The Boomerang Restaurant: An air-conditioned, international class venue overlooking the twin Caravonica Lakes which is ideal for group events (100-350 guests).
  • The Rainforest Marquee:Tjapukai's specially created Rainforest Marquee (350-2000 guests) is an experience venue located at the base of the rainforest which borders the park's 25 acres. A marquee dinner event can easily incorporate a 20 minute cultural show by the multi-award winning Tjapukai Dancers, performed on a stage constructed inside the marquee.

Options

All Tjapukai's special events and incentive programs can also include optional theatre shows:

  • History Theatre (20 mins)
  • Creation Theatre (20 mins)
  • Dance Theatre (20 mins)

Other optional add-ons include a solo didgeridoo or a live firemaking performance, and a range of spectacular pyrotechnics.

Clients

To date we've entertained over 20,000 corporate guests, presented dozens of gala dinners, and showcased indigineous culture and stylish cuisine to hundreds of incentive groups.
